The Receptionist serves as the first point of contact for visitors and clients, ensuring a welcoming and professional environment. This role is essential in maintaining smooth office operations by managing front desk activities and providing administrative support to various departments.
- Greet and welcome guests as soon as they arrive at the office.
- Direct visitors to the appropriate person or department.
- Answer, screen, and forward incoming phone calls.
- Ensure reception area is tidy and presentable with all necessary stationery and material (e.g., pens, forms).
- Receive, sort, and distribute daily mail/deliveries.
- Maintain office security by following safety procedures and controlling access via the reception desk (monitor logbook).
- Order front office supplies and keep inventory of stock.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational abilities with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software applications.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
