The Teacher Assistant supports classroom teachers in delivering educational programs and managing student behavior. This role is essential for enhancing the learning environment by providing additional instructional support and ensuring students receive personalized attention.
- Assist teachers with lesson preparation and classroom activities.
- Support individual or small groups of students to reinforce learning concepts.
- Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
- Help maintain a safe, organized, and positive classroom environment.
- Supervise students during non-classroom times such as lunch or recess.
- Prepare teaching materials and resources as directed by the teacher.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with students, parents, and staff.
- Patience and empathy when working with children of diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to follow instructions from lead teachers effectively.
- Basic understanding of child development principles.
