The Product Manager is responsible for guiding the success of a product and leading the cross-functional team that is responsible for improving it. This role is crucial in setting the strategy, roadmap, and feature definition for a product or product line.
- Define the product vision and strategy.
- Gather and prioritize customer requirements.
- Work closely with engineering, sales, marketing, and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Develop pricing strategies based on market research.
- Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.
- Translate business strategy into product strategy.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and user needs analysis.
- Proficient in project management tools like JIRA or Trello.
- Excellent communication skills to articulate complex concepts clearly to stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
