The Security Officer is responsible for ensuring the safety and security of company premises, assets, and personnel. This role is vital in maintaining a secure environment by monitoring surveillance equipment, inspecting buildings, and controlling access points.
- Monitor surveillance cameras and alarm systems.
- Conduct regular patrols of the premises to prevent unauthorized access or activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms or incidents on-site.
- Control access at building entrances and vehicle gates.
- Write reports on daily activities and irregularities such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary.
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills for reporting incidents clearly and accurately.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure during emergencies.
- Basic knowledge of security operations and procedures.
